My freshmen want to watch Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure on our last day of class (because it has Socrates– or SOW-crayts, as B&T call him). I expressed surprise that they’d heard of that movie– they were infants when it came out. They informed me that “it’s a classic.” Dear God.
